Winter rains are settling, and I’m feeling a little thirsty… Luckily, we’re highlighting new Marin businesses this month, and three of them are purveyors of the finest beverages. Ranch Water on San Rafael’s Fourth Street boasts a full bar and tequila-forward cocktails for a hip addition to Marin’s nightlife. Second, oddcha tea house — also in San Rafael — offers a wide menu of boba teas, lattes and smoothies from the window of its Victorian location on Irwin St. Lastly, Tam Junction got a new coffee shop with upside, a community gathering space where you can get a rich latte.
Marin also got a boost to its health and wellness services. The PostPartum Support Center opened its San Rafael location at the end of last year, connecting parents to key services for perinatal mental health. And if your wellness regimen includes regular mani/pedis, check out Marlowe in Marin Country Mart for clean, fair-labor nail services. Look through our pages below for all the restaurants, shops and community spaces that are new in town.
And this is just a snapshot of Marin’s thriving food scene; we have also been busy this year shining the light on new hotels and other services, new art and cultural centers, shops and boutiques and beauty and wellness centers.
