Learn to Fish at Paradise Park

As a former smoker I realize the satisfaction passive activities grant us. There’s a real joy in getting away under the premise of doing something, but in reality this something demands very little of you. These kind of moments are especially useful in awkward social situations, but slipping away for some passive “you” time, to daydream and think with “a purpose” is something I hold dear. Of course, though, smoking is terrible and while the act of washing dishes probably satisfies a similar urge, there are other options out there. One of them being pier fishing. This weekend join rangers, and a few of our experienced local anglers, to learn the secrets and tricks of the trade when fishing from a pier at Tiburon’s Paradise Park. A limited amount of poles will be available on a first come, first-served basis. A valid California fishing license is required when fishing from the shore, not from the pier. This event is ideal for all ages. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Rain will cancel.
