Second Fridays Art Walk San Rafael

Anyone who’s ever been to an art walk will sing its praises. Not only to you get to check out cool (often local) art, there’s generally live music, pop-up restaurants or food trucks, plus you also get to go out with friends and meet new people, and wine. Lots of wine that’s often free. Even if it wasn't for all those aforementioned features, the highlights of this Friday's are not to be missed. Art Works Downtown will be showcasing their Disturbing Times exhibit which relates to — shocker — the turmoil since the 2016 election. Underground Gallery will be having a reception, as well. What it Feels like for a Girl is solo show by Serena Cole; the work based on the appropriation and reconstruction of found imagery from fashion, art history, and current events. Aside from Underground and Art Works Downtown there’s at least 10 other galleries and businesses participating in the event ensuring something for everyone –– better than ordering food at home in the very least. Don’t forget about the wine.

If You Go:
