Marinship Walking Tour

World War II was a captivating time. It tells a story of horror and resilience, one that has not aged with the years that have passed. Have you ever thought about what it was like to live during the height of WWII in an active shipyard? Probably not, but now you have a chance to find out all about it as over 70 years ago, Sausalito acted as that very place.

This Saturday join Ranger Joanne on a two mile tour of Marin’s former most bustling shipyard, Marinship. It isn't every day you will have the chance to experience the Bay Area model as the thriving shipyard it once was. Grab you layers, as the weather can be unpredictable and wear comfortable shoes.

If You Go:

When: Feb 20, 2016 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM

Where: Bay Model Visitor Center 2100 Bridgeway Sausalito, CA

Cost: Free
