A New Year, A New Parent Education Series

At Old Firehouse School, we believe that learning is a life-long adventure! In fact, Albert Einstein said it best when he stated “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death. While our Mill Valley school specializes in early education for children ages 2-5, we also enjoy hosting several adult education series' throughout the year open to our OFS parents, the Marin community, as well as friends and family!

Below is a list of dates for our upcoming workshops. Please let us know which ones you’d like to attend with an RSVP to the following email: [email protected]. We also have refreshments to follow.

January 18th 6:30–8 p.m. – Ready Set Go! Pediatric Occupational Therapists present an interactive workshop about pre-writing skills.

February 15th 6:30–8 p.m. – Ashley Ross, MFT trainee from FamilyWorks, Inc. discussing the topic of temperaments and parenting.

March 15th 6:30–8 p.m. – Alexandra Dutton, Ed.M., Program Director at OFS Lafayette, presents an interactive workshop sharing games and activities that you can do at home to support preschool numeracy and encourage a lifelong love of math (even if you think you hate math)!

We will also be distributing flyers, sending emails, and posting to our social media pages two weeks prior to each event as a reminder. Hope to see you there and encourage the continued love for learning.
