Fourth of July Festivities

Looking for something to do on the 4th of July in the Bay Area? Here are few things to consider… have we missed your favorite? Let us know.

Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito’s will be hosting a BBQ celebration paired with fun activities and entertaining events from 12-5 p.m. at the Callippe Terrace. Menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, all beef hot dogs and hamburgers, baby back ribs, grilled sweet white corn, grilled Caesar salad, and house baked pies for dessert. And for the adults, the signature cocktails will be the Pisco Cobbler, the Fort Baker, and The Honey Pot. Lonesome Locomotive will be performing live music between 1-5 pm. Walks-ins are welcomed into the BBQ – no reservations are required. Guests are also invited to bring their furry friends and explore nearby leash-free areas like Rodeo Beach and Remington Dog Park.

St. Helena has a brand-new fireworks show, and Long Meadow Ranch has your front row seats. Head to the three-acre property for unbeatable scenery, food from Executive Chef Stephen Barber’s Fourth of July barbecue menu (featuring a whole hog), games and of course, wine. The Jimi James Band will provide entertainment, but the real show will be in the night sky. Each paid guest receives a bottle of Long Meadow Ranch House Red or Sauvignon Blanc, along with a glass. Don’t forget your beach chairs and blankets! Twenty five dollars per person, 738 Main Street, Saint Helena. 707.963.4555
