California Beer Festival in Marin County

Beer lovers and you saints out there that can tolerate the aforementioned group when sober: the California Beer Festival is coming back to Marin. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy over 80 craft beers as well as plenty of food to sop up all those suds. Beautiful Stafford Lake will be serving as the stage for the festivities this year, which are also set to include live music such as local favorites Wonderbread 5, the Grain (are you picking up on a theme here?) and IrieFuse. You can expect to find some cool beer swag and a bocce ball court, which is where personally, I think the designated drivers will get their biggest reward –– winning with ease and laughing at the incompetent inebriated bunch.

But seriously though, it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds will benefit the Gen Giammanco Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial support to student athletes to assist in their pursuit of both scholastic and athletic success in Marin County. So come on out and do your part, whether that means drinking or driving, but not both, please.

If You Go:

When: Saturday, June 20 from 12:30–5 p.m.

Where: Stafford Lake

Cost: $50 general admission tickets, $25 for designated drivers
