Join the Marine Mammal Center for Seals & Slippers Camping Night

Camp with The Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands!

Camp out under the stars, enjoy special after-hour activities and wake up to the sound of barking sea lions at the Marine Mammal Center’s Seals & Slippers, for kids ages 6-12 and their families. This unique overnight program begins with a delicious dinner, followed by the opportunity to observe the seals and sea lions as they enjoy their evening meal. Kids will get to explore the animal care and science that happens behind-the-scenes at the Center.

As the stars come out, kids can roast s’mores and camp out with family in the outdoor courtyard, sleeping under “Indra's Net,” a special art exhibit. In the morning, families will awaken to a continental breakfast and a guided hike around Rodeo Lagoon and Rodeo Beach.

Sleepovers Include:

  • Overnight stay in the outdoor courtyard
  • Observe seals and sea lions at their evening feeding session
  • Dinner, dessert and continental breakfast
  • Guided Hike around Rodeo Lagoon
  • Special behind-the-scenes activities (no direct animal interaction)
