Charles M. Schulz adopted a wide ranging and creative lexicon for the Peanuts comic strip; though his creative approach to communication went well beyond the traditional use of words. With the stroke of his pen Schulz was able to create expressive line and use space within the comic strip panels to evoke action, emotion, and hilarity—at times, telling a complete story using no words at all. In this exhibition of over 70 original comic strips, see examples of the artful techniques Schulz employed to tell his stories, without words. This exhibition will be on view December 5, 2018 through May 20, 2019. $5-$12 (included in regular Museum admission)
