Description

Environmental Forum of Marin: Lectures, Films & Workshops Series

Located and Co-sponsored by Marin Art & Garden Center

Meet and ask questions of local experts: What are they doing to help the California Pacific? What can you do?  Our planet depends on healthy oceans and it is alarming to see the impacts of climate change, reef destruction, multiple pollution inputs, and over-fishing. This program will address some of the threats to our oceans and solutions being implemented in California, focusing on ocean food webs, marine mammals, offshore and coastal restoration projects, and other conservation measures.

Keynote Speaker: Ellie Cohen, President & CEO, Point Blue Conservation Science

Learn from Jeff Boehm, Executive Director of Marine Mammal Center and Michael Stocker, ED of Ocean Conservation Research. Heirs to Our Oceans will provide the next generation's perspective and tell you about their job in helping with solutions.
