Renegade Fiber at MarinMOCA
The Marin Museum of Contemporary Art presents Renegade Fiber, featuring 50 contemporary fiber artists. The artwork on view explores a variety of themes through innovative use of traditional and non-traditional materials. Juror Richard Elliott, Associate Professor at California College of the Arts, invites us to “...witness examples of the revitalization of cast-off textiles, social and political sentiments, and poignant, personal portraits. The independent voices of the artworks selected makes each one of them Renegades in their own right.”
Exhibit runs from May 27 through July 2, with a Reception on Saturday, June 10, 5 - 7 pm. Free to the public.
