Where's Muir Woods?

86 They come by the millions — 13,000,000 to be precise — and they’re full upon us now. ’Tis the season of the tourists. They rent bikes that clog the bridge (and Bridgeway). They rent ragtops, then freeze on fogbound forays to Muir Woods. They shiver in their shorts. They gaze, gape-mouthed, at the organic menus of our favorite restaurants — and then order pizza. They get lost — a lot — in Mill Valley.

But, they come armed with euros and Chinese yuan and Korean won and even good ol’ greenbacks from Middle America and spread about $650 million of those around Marin every year, paying for thousands of local jobs.

So welcome, visitors. Welcome to you huddled masses yearning to be warm on our cool summer days. We have a nice sweatshirt we’d like to sell you. visitmarin.org
