Marin Symphony's season opening gala, Caviar and Comrades, was a sold-out success. The event featured a pre-concert black tie patrons' dinner and a post-concert champagne and dessert reception. The evening's Russian theme highlighted the season-opening screening of Sergei Eisenstein's 1925 silent film classic The Battleship Potemkin with live orchestral score performed by the Marin Symphony Orchestra.
