Join us in the Commonweal Garden for two 3-day weekends in May & September! (Sign up for just one weekend or both)

Join Penny Livingston, Anna O’Malley & Edward Willie as we explore our human relationship with the healing plant world.

Spring: Healthy Skin, Digestion, and Detoxification

As we work with herbal medicine concepts, we’ll meet some plants that are particularly supportive of our digestion, detoxification, and the care of our skin. Anna will teach us about the inner workings of our bodies, and how plants are perfectly suited to support us. We’ll also learn about how we can support them, in our gardens and beyond.

You will come away with skin care creams, digestion supporting tinctures, and more.

Fall: Herbal Respiratory Support and First Aid (September 13-14)

As we approach the season of coughs and colds, we’ll focus on respiratory support, and will create an herbal first aid kit. We will work with distillation, and make a hydrosol.

You will come away with a basic understanding of how to respond to a variety of symptoms with your herbal knowledge and first aid kit, including a bottle of hydrosol.

You are encouraged to camp overnight in the garden- in the evenings there will be fire circles and singing. Sign up for the full program or just one of the weekends in May or September.
