Hamilton is Back

The Broadway hit is finally back in San Francisco and will be playing through September 8th. Thanks to a new lottery system, chances are good you’ll get a ticket.

In case you’ve been under a rock for the last five years, in Hamilton, creative genius Lin-Manuel Miranda reminds us about founding father Alexander Hamilton (assuming we paid attention in history class), an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War, and then became the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. He does this reminding via a blend of hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B… in other words, this play is the story of America then, as told by America now.

Digital Ticket Lottery

Producer Jeffrey Seller and SHN have announced a digital lottery for tickets. Forty four tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each two days prior to the performance. The lottery opens at 11 a.m. and tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the performance using the purchase link and code in a customized notification email. Two tickets are allowed per entrant. To sign up, download the official app for Hamilton, now available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, or visit the Hamilton lottery page to register.  And of course,  you can just simply buy the tickets for the day you would like.
