Out & About, Music: June

The Bay Area has a thriving music scene and Marin is no musical slouch either. Here are the listings from our latest issue, highlighting mostly Marin and the rest of the Bay Area too.

Featured: The Music of the Grateful Dead for Kids

This family-friendly jam from the Rock and Roll Playhouse is designed for babies and kids and encourages them to move, play, and sing while experiencing songs created by the most iconic musicians in rock and roll. Even the volume is turned down to accommodate little ears, giving adults an incentive to listen just a little bit more closely. Takes place for Father’s Day, June 15 in Mill Valley at the Sweetwater Music Hall. 415.388.3850, sweetwatermusichall.com
